Alongside the teaching of the National Curriculum, we intentionally weave in the skills for life - those essential qualities that enable children to understand themselves, build positive relationships, and face challenges with confidence. When every child has a champion behind them, receiving high-quality teaching with equal opportunities for all; when personal character is shaped through kindness, guidance, support and trust; when emotional, physical and mental resilience are fostered; and when children are encouraged to become lifelong learners in a safe and happy environment - then, and only then, do they begin to plan for and write their own future.
